Stakeholders meeting discusses water, waste management and service delivery.

Norton Town Council engaged stakeholders at Ngoni Hall, clarifying water supply, refuse collection and wastewater management issues while encouraging residents to support service delivery through payment of dues.

Norton Town Council conducted an all stakeholders meeting at Ngoni Hall on Saturday 07 March 2026. Stakeholders raised concerns regarding service delivery, with particular emphasis on water supply, refuse collection and wastewater management. During the discussions, Council clarified the status of water supply and explained that the discoloration of water was believed to be caused by erratic supply patterns that allow corrosion in pipelines when water is absent. Residents were encouraged to contribute at least a minimum of US$10 per household towards settlement of dues in order to support improved service delivery and sustainable operations.
